NovaCor: The Fringe is an exciting Sci-Fi adventure with a blend of FPS combat and Puzzle Solving. Collect items, solve puzzles and blast your way to the center of the mystery surrounding NovaCor.
A few screens of some new models and layout work of the individual labs. New models include some variations of workstations, some mounted on walls, some tabletop versions, and there is a free standing version not pictured. Also shown are some new server models; I am replacing all of the squarish servers with something more fitting to the overall theme.
The server lights at the bottom are animated and slowly pulse :) They are pretty simple in design intentionally, yet match the rest of the level design.
O ok those green lights, cool, an interesting detail.
I was just thinking, is this place going to have a docking station that can accommodate the "Normandy" :P
The station does have a spaceport, two actually. One is for the passenger/employee loading/unloading and the other is strictly for shipments.

We get to see more and more of your maps, but what about the story? Some information would be nice of you.
Besides that I really hope that you will visit areas that are nothing like these. If not, I'm telling you that it will be way too repetetive. Get outside, underground, in spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace or something among those lines.
Oh yes, there will be more areas different than what Ive been showing. Ive pictured the same areas probably too many times now; but they have been going through a metamorphasis until they have reached this point, which is the final design.
I have some much more open and different areas, as well as a space sequence and possibly a surface sequence planned. If development time goes well, you will also infiltrate a NovaCor Cruiser and explore that as well. Nothing has been laid out in Hammer for that, but the concept design is almost complete.
As far as story, you make a good point. I will make an effort to get that all laid out and explained by the end of the year.

Its kind of reminescent of older titles, as I strictly avoid lots of round stuff in the design. I think people who played older FPS games will appreciate the mapping the most. So far most of the layouts are in the vein of Perfect Dark (N64) and Goldeneye 007.
I am going for an old-school type feeling to the Mod ;D
