Trading System

Trades (except for Element Zero) are purchased for a base price of 8,000 units and will return between 6,000 and 10,000 units of the target commodity.

Element Zero is a high value, rare commodity. As such it trades at a 1:4 rate. This means Element Zero trades are purchased for a base price of 2,000 credits - while still returning between 6,000 and 10,000 units of the target commodity. When purchasing Element Zero with other commodities, between 1,500 and 2,500 units will be returned.

Commodities are assigned high, medium or low trade rates and the relationship between the traded commodities determines profit or loss. Using a commodity with a high trade value to purchase a commodity with a low trade value will yield large gains. Trading two commodities with low value will break even. Trading a moderate value commodity for a high value commodity will yield a small loss, etc.

Trade rates refresh after each mission, along with randomly generated economic conditions that have given rise to any surplus, steady supply or shortage.

Initially, trade limits will apply, preventing more than six trades in any specific exchange, or ten trades across all exchanges, at any given time. Trade limits will reset after each mission. This limitation can be removed for a fee.

Installation and Compatibility

Import the .7z file into ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. Apply the mod to the game. Play the game.

Manual installation is not possible, this mod relies on features provided by the mod manager.

This mod requires Mod Manager v8 or higher.

This mod is natively compatible with Last Person Standing. Just install them both, it's fine.

This mod is not compatible with New Dresses for Females (LE2). At minimum, New Dresses' content in the docks area will not appear. There may be further complications.

I'm not aware of any other mods that share files with or could potentially impact this mod.

Language

This mod is only available in English. It does not have support for other languages in either text or audio. I'm really sorry about this - I usually try to provide subtitles for all languages. But the randomised descriptions here rely on very specific grammatical structures. There is also custom audio content that cannot be translated. Attempting to play this mod in another language will result in English language being used for the exchange itself, and missing audio content. I cannot guarantee what bugs this may lead to.For Mod Devs

This mod makes use of the following ranges:

Mount: 3737
TLK: 2634759 - 2634984
Bools: 8718 - 8741
Ints: 1220 - 1259
Transitions: 8720 - 8749
Conditionals: 4154 - 4180
Quests: 21220

The changes to BioD_TwrHub_101LandingBayHall.pcc and BioA_Exp1Lvl5.pcc are gated by the mod's installation bool. This means the changes will only appear if this mod is installed. This also means you can safely build on top of these files and ship them in your own mod to provide patchless compatibility. If Nos Astra Mineral Exchange is installed, the content will be visible. If it is not installed, they will behave as vanilla files (plus any changes you make.)

Please contact me if you need further information about this.

Happy N7 Day everyone!

Nos Astra Mineral Exchange has two hidden upgrades, the ability to unlock a terminal on the Shadow Broker's ship that provides a discount, and an entire fully voiced sidequest. I don't believe anyone's found the hidden features yet and since I don't have a mod for release, I've decided to release a video explaining how to access these features.

Unlock cut upgrades like the Shifty Cow Endoskeleton:

Shifty Upgrade

Or the Quarian Shield upgrade:

Quarian Shield Upgrade

But be careful....

Small Print Comprehension Failure

Read the small print or you may fine yourself locked out of the Normandy.

Normandy Impounded

And then you might have to get your ship back by making some...unconventional bargains in a fully voiced sidequest, with journal integration, squadmate comments, multiple resolutions and an original character.

Silica 1

Silica 2

But don't worry too much. If you screw up really badly, Liara will save you. Probably.
