ORIGINAL 3-D design from Westwood as a cancelled concept for C&C1(Tiberian Dawn).-TESTING ON 04-23-16PLANS TO:-Continue SHP (graphics) CONVERSION based on public sprite from RA3-Tesla Trooper.-Update arms and legs closer to that of the TD concept art.-Add jetpack/wings if the decision is made to give them that capability. |

As nifty as jumpjets would be, this design would not be conductive to jumpjet flight. The Rocketeer works because it is lightly armoured, and does not possess excess bulk that would hinder graceful, agile flight. The XOT, however, is practically the opposite to the Rocketeer: Bulky with heavy armour, so jumpjets would either have to be unacceptably large, or you'd be better off strapping a full-blown jet engine to the suit. But that's just what I think, anyway. |
