A small update for NHCmod v2.700n + Combiner for EF 3.5
EDIT 2024-04-29: Fixed AI bug of SU-122 in the Combiner. Fixed AI bug of Guard grenades. Fixed all EF changes to Wehrmacht terror doctrine by overwritting them.
Fixed EF bug of axis mortar team that could cause AI crash. Fixed EF bug that prevented nebelwerfer to fire.

Major Features
Dead corpses stay, artillery range increased, pop cap increased, new units, each side has one hero unit.
Crazy stuff can be deactivated in the reward menu.

----------------------------------- Installation ----------------------------------
1) Delete any previous version of the NHCmod
2) Execute and follow the instruction of the installer
Optional : Download and install the language addon Moddb.com
3) Just Click on the shortcut created on your desktop to play the mod!
NB: For some strange reasons, Steam now requires to launch the shortcut two times before the mod properly launch. Close CoH the first time and the second time will be fine.
4) Do not forget to choose what units you want to activate/deactivate in the reward menu
Advice: It is recommended to defrag your Disk after installation for better performance.
From time to time, it would be useful to clear the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\My documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\LogFiles
For old CD/DVD users:
If the .bat does not work for unknown reason try to create your own shortcut:
- Create a shortcut of relicCOH.exe- Right-click on the shortcut and go to "Properies"
- In the Shortcut tab change the Target line by adding the following command after the brackets:
"-mod NHCTOV -dev" (without the brackets)
ex: "C:\program files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCoH.exe" - mod NHCTOV -dev
- Use this shortcut to start the mod
uninstallation: just click on the uninstaller
If you have the error message "Game is not being run as a known company of heroes product. try again by launching from steam" :
It may be because you have an antivirus that prevent the bat files to run the command "RelicCOH.exe -mod NHCToV -dev".
To go around that, make sure the mod was installed in the right folder, on the launching options from steam,
In library > on the left menu of your game list, right-click on company of heroes > property > general > define launching option you can add the command
-mod NHCToV -dev
or
-mod Combiner_Beta -dev for the combiner
This would run the mod. You would have to remove that command for running other mods.
If the game crashes with a report to Relic before getting to the main menu. It means that there is a conflict with another mod.
The easiest way to solve it is to delete the other mods. The other is to find the .ucs in the folders:
CoH\Locale\English
CoH\Engine\Locale\English
RelicOnline\Locale\English
that is not made by Relic (i.e. by the bad mod) and move it apart.

Disclaimer: You can play as British but British AI (with or against you) will cause a crash. You can continue playing after pushing the 'pause' button. I have no idea why EF British AI is buggy in the combiner.
- Updated the code for EF 3.5 (module, scar, rgd)
- Changed new EF critical types for infantry to default infantry critical types (infantry, sniper, heroic)
- Combined capacities of Bren carrier from EF and NHC. I can have EF upgrades (Mortar, flamethrower), can transport 2 squads (1 squad of 5 + 1 officer or 2 squad of 3) and crush enemy infantry
- Correct EF bug of the mortar bren that could not fire its Light Machine Gun after the mortar upgrade

- Wrecked Haunebu cannot be crushed for easier recovery
- Haunebu blue blasters replaced by red blasters.

Hmm, not sure what the issue is but the game is crashing right as it transitions from the very first cut-scene/movie into the actual playable game.
Everything works fine till that moment, but it won't enter the playable game. I checked warnings.log but nothing stands out to me, it all seems nominal.

Installed NHC Mod & EF 3.5 Combiner and just using the Combiner batch file to launch. (No other mods). Using 'High' settings.
Kinda unsure what's going on.

Why are you even using the Combiner to play the campaign?
It does not work with EF. The only interest of EF is that it adds 2 new factions (Soviet and Ostheer). Use the basic NHCmod if you want to play the campaign.
I'm slightly confused. Isn't the whole point of the Combiner to be able to use Easter Front in the campaign? Or is EF only for multiplayer?
No. EF only adds factions to skirmish games. These factions are not present in the campaign and therefore would add nothing to it. EF disables the campaign mode. It is only for skirmish because the codes they wrote to add the factions is incompatible with the original campaign.

when i tried saved skirmish games from m and k etc , i was missing components already purchased and the lieutenant does not work when i try to build supply truck.

Sorry for the late response. Two humans Ostheer and Wehrmacht have played against 4 Russians (3 Expert and 1 Normal) the map Coastline Offensive. The Humans were located at positions 1&2. The Russians at 5-8.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems to be an old EF unit using older AI code. I will check that.
The bug has been fixed. It was because of the SU-122 calling older EF functions that does not exist anymore. Please download again the file to install the updated combiner.

After playing the same game like yesterday the fatal KI error occurred again in a game of two humans against 4 Sowjets on Coastline Offensive.
An other point is, that since I played this wonderful mod the fear doktrin (in German "Schreckensdoktrin") doesn't work. You can select it, but can not spend Command Points to the upgrades.

Found an EF bug in the Wehrmacht AI when it tries to pick up a mortar. Please download the combiner again.

It is the AI of the SU-122 again... I have this time removed all EF code and replaced its "brain" with the StuH AI. It should works fine now. You can try to download the file again.

Make a clean install by deleting the mod completely. You MUST delete the Combiner_beta folder! Then, download again and reinstall the mod.

eliminato ed il gioco si e' avviato normalmente l ho fatto girare e funziona solo che i norbelefer non per cosi' dire sparano comunque il resto gira correttamente.

Non è normale che quel file fosse lì. Significa che non hai eliminato la cartella Combiner_beta prima di installare la nuova versione. Fallo di nuovo: elimina l'intera cartella, scarica il mod e quindi installa il mod.

we played now many times the 2 humans vs 4 Sowjets without any problems. Unfortunately the Terror Doctrin spelled in german "Schreckensdoktrin" doesn't work even within the n6 update. You can select and confirm it, but you can't spend a command point to get the first upgrade. If you click again on the flashing command point icon you have to select the doctrin again. It will be nice, if you can fix this.

Weird, I don't see why. The files for that have not changed. Maybe there was an issue with the compilation of the installer. I have repacked it. Try to download again.
