Hello, I've been working on a mod for a while that will completely change the game Napoleon total war. Among other things, I have revised the behavior of the BAI and the CAI, the campaigns will now be much more difficult, the CAI is much more aggressive and all nations have earlier access to strong units. The BAi will now form nice lines and fire heavily at you instead of blindly running into melee combat The big nations and a few smaller ones get new uniforms from the NM_Texture mod, since I can't find the developer of the mod anywhere, I hope he doesn't mind if I use his models, he's welcome to contact me and I'll put him here mention and possibly pay him money for the models he has created. I also reworked some of his models a bit, as some were a bit buggy or didn't have distance models. In addition, the mod contains some graphic effects from other mods. I buffed Austria/spain&more;, they now has a powerful army I will have this mod tested by a few people and then I will publish it

Here is the first version of my mod. The installation is described in the readme. It's possible that there are small bugs, I've only been able to have another person test it so far. But since it's running perfectly on my pc, I'm sure I'll find a solution if needed.

So. I am currently playing the campaign and have a helpful suggestion. I am not sure if it is simple or not. But people really like aesthetic changes. Check out the Main Game menu in the Enhanced Multiplayer mod. I believe they have it showcased on Moddb. Check out Pike and Shot for battle ui and campaign ui. If this is a remaster, you should (and probably are) considering those. It would be immensely useful for a remaster to feel like it is fresh. I would like to thank you for getting around to the release. This has HUGE potential - and hopes will be that it is not just another carbon copy of Field Command, NTW3, or GB: Community Mod. Long live the emperor!

So in addition to my suggestion, how different will the game get if it was optimal to pursue that development?

I don't have any UI changes planned yet, but once I'm done with my main goals, I'll move onto those things.
First of all you should notice that the AI ​​is now fielding much stronger armies, fighting with an equal army should push your armies to the limit. Of course, I recommend playing the campaign and combat on Very Hard/Very Hard and making sure the unit size is 320. I will probably change the UI at some point, but at the moment this wasn't a high priority for me, think I'll still be a longer term project as I'm currently working on this mod exclusively on my own

After playing a couple of hours here are some bugs/suggestions

-decrease accuracy a bit (line fights last 20 seconds)

-Coaltion flags have the french eagle on top

-french fusiliers have grenadier uniforms

-voltiguers shouldnt be able to form a square

thats it other than that its great
