I downloaded am drop mod by the name of U74 but there is a problem. I just beat Diablo and when I try to go to the barbarian land a error pops up. It reads UNHANDLED EXEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005) any one know what this means? or how I may go about fixing it. I am re posting in different places cause I want it fixed ASAP.

If you have e-mailed me and i have n ot responded, it may be because you're caught by my filter, being put in Junk section. AIM/ Yahoo me instead, or, if its ok with Mystic/gameplayer, e-mail them, and FWD it to me, and i can add you to my address book. Thanks!

Get a new microphone, then, gameplayer! The one I bought was only $14.95, and some sell for only $10 at Staples.

Do you have voice-acting in it? If not, I'll be happy to help with that, though I can't exactly be more than one person without wierdness occuring :P

*double post*

A good place to get help with your Freespace 2 mod is at the Hard Light Productions fourms.

Hard-light.net

I have an account here (thesizzler), and I amsure you can find some good FREDers there. (I'd offer to help, but I'm busy with my own project.

Or you could use the "ships beam-freed by default" box in mission specs...

(only in FRED Open)

To add beam cannons, click on the "Event Editor" under "Events" on the main toolbar. You should be at a screen with some buttons on the right side that say "New Event", "Insert Event", etc. with a huge, white box of nothingness in the center. Click the "New Event" button and then select the little plus-sign box next to "Event Name". This should pull down another little box which says "when". Click the second plus-sign box, and you should see "true" and "do-nothing". Change "true" to whatever you want by right-clicking on "true", then, under the "Replace Operator" tab, select whatever you want. Then, change "do-nothing" by performing the same steps as above (except replacing "true" with "do-nothing"). Except, this time, you want to select the option "beam-free" for one beam cannon to be active, "fire-beam" for one beam cannon to be active at one time, or "beam-free-all" for every beam cannon to be active on the selected ship. Go into the game, and the ship you selected should be firing beams.
