As the twins have 2 settlements on the campaign map the west/east twins will be attacked from the relevant side the settlement is located on, the same way as east and west osgiliath in TATW.
This mod is going places , I'll redownload the game in order to play it , but I'm waiting for the upcoming update cuz it looks like it's gonna be really huge , great work , I salute you whoever working on this.
I actually have that model downloaded but it requires sketchup to convert the file to the format I need, I could buy sketchup but it seems a waste to buy the program just to convert a single file.
Peaman already has all the settlements from Westeros 1.0 - with the exception of the wall. He told me he was gonna make his own version of the Wall though.
As for Winterfell he has already made it - but that model you linked to on Youtube sure is more close to lore and probably has much higher polygon-count as well.
As far as I know Peaman is importing cities from the game Winter is Coming so they're pretty great. I don't know if Medieval 2 Total War would be able to handle the model on Youtube. In Elder Scrolls their settlements lag a lot because they're too heavy for Med2 in some cases.
I'm not an expert on technical stuff like you , thanks for explaining this to me , but yeah he's doing a great work here , I hope he continue on improving this mod.
This is one of the things I don't like about this settlement, it seems too easy to take when the twins is suppose to be a strong castle. I might make a bigger perimeter for the walls or make it so the attacker will have to take the 1st twin then march across and take the 2nd, I'm not sure yet.
I don't know, perhaps have some fun with it. Let your imagination flow. Perhaps the shape of the walls , instead of being a square or a circle etc. or perhaps adding one more layer of wall/one more "ring" to each side
Both sides of the river could be attacked separately?

Can you perhaps import the 3D files of winterfell from this video by Shadiversity
Youtube.com
he said that the 3D files are public domain and can be downloaded and used by anyone , perhaps you can use them to make winterfell in this mod.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that , but yeah anything close to that model would be perfect for winterfell.
Also one more question , are you planning on adding other 3D buildings from the other GOT mods , like kings landing , or the wall...etc ?

Actually looking pretty nice ! I would make it have more walls though, like a bigger perimeter for the wall
