"Muslim Conquest 635 AD" is a submod of "Rise of Islam 634 AD" mod. There are a few things that I don't like about the mod, so I decided to make a submod to add various items, optimizing the mod, edit the troops, do items balancing. And be WARNED!! 1. Let's just forget that I will include Oliver's Armor after my honeymoon. haha..
Its a Roman Skirmisher, upgraded from Roman Archer Tier 3. It will use decent sword, oval shield, and javelin.
Just a suggestion, Roman army at the time of this mod should look like this. I think the armors are fine now, but sword should be longer spatha type, shields should be oval shaped for infantry, and helmet should be mostly Spangenhelm type or lamellar (like nomadic helmet) rather than older ridge type.
I also put some references here for you. There's not much illustration on Herakleian military, but you can take some reference from Justinian era which is pretty close :) If you have Attila Total War then you could try the mod 'Herakleios : War of the Three Faiths' for reference.

As I say before, every weapon in this units screenshot is just a replacer, they will use different weapon.
Yes, infantry will use oval shield.
Yes, they will use different kind of sword.
Yes, there will be some spangenhelm when I found good asset as I don't like the spangenhelm from the base mod.
And No, I don't have Attila Total War.
I agree with this in fact roman army greek empire looks like also a little bit the empire in Bannerlord ^^
