Chainmail wasn't really common amongst Arabs at the time. But some of them used it but not extensively. Mail armors weren't really used by the Arabs at the time.

Sassanid warriors: 1. savaran "Clibanarius" - heavy horseman heavily armored and armed with spear and bow. 2. Infante dailamita - highly valued warriors who used a multitude of weapons: swords, axes, bows, slings and especially a “double-leaf” javelin, although the correct translation is likely to be “double-edged”. 3. Paighan - cam warriors recruited among the peasantry.

Arab warriors In the first time of expansion there was a shortage of horses so the base of the armies was the infantry armed with a spear or bow. Both riders and infants would carry straight swords. Iron stirrups would have been introduced just after the conquest of Persia, although apparently some Arab horsemen already used wooden stirrups in the seventh century.

Here is a compilation of historical uniforms so that you can modify them for both the Byzantine and Arab mod, it would also be good if you add the historical standards used by the factions in the historical period as well as infantry banners, cavalry also different historical shields used by the infantry as cavalry in the images can be seen.

Thanks mate. I will definitely look at all of them.
But I will warn you that this mod will not 100% historically accurate.

Here's my reason:
1. Sometime its hard to find the right asset as not much asset create for this time period
2. Some part of my submod will be different from real life for the sake of gameplay. Like I will make rashidun mainly ride camel as no other faction will ride one except Rashidun.
3. Personal Preference. This submod is my personal tweaked version of Rise of Islam that maybe some change will be based from my Personal Preference.
