Welcome to Mundus Igne et Gladio, the World of Fire and Sword. This is a fan-made submod of the 16th Century Mod. While this mod seeks to improve quality of the translation, balance to in-game items, and expand upon factions within the game, credit should be given to the original Century War Team (consisting of Mskimizd, Ellis, and Yifeng), Khorps who created an improved translation for settlement and troop names, Mariusz Kozil whose art (with mosaic modification) you can see on the loading screen, the team behind the Battle of Grunwald mod, and creators of packs and mods from which 16th Century Mod borrows its assets. I hope you'll enjoy this sub-mod as much as I enjoyed the 16th Century Mod, and if in turn you too will find a way to improve upon it, I would love to see your vision.

Description

Although the more popular half-armor has not been widely used by the Polish Hussars until the 17th century, I felt that in this case it was alright to bend the timeline a bit and keep it in the game for top-tier Polish-Lithuanian cavalry unit because of the cool-factor (although being Polish myself I may be somewhat biased). However, the cavalry unit that can be upgraded into Winged Hussars have been outfitted to reflect more accurately what Polish-Lithuanian Hussars of the 16th century would wear and carry into battle.
