Missing Information aims to recreate Valve's original Half-Life 2 storyline found in Raising the Bar.
Oh my god look at what you guys made me do.
I gone done jizzed in my pants.
You guys should show Gabe this picture. I really wonder what his reaction would be
He'd be like "GTFO OUR BTA IS FR US ONLY OGM" lol
Oh my, I just noticed that the community has better mappers than the company!
It's because valve doesn't work on maps 1 at a time. They also take them through hundreds of playthroughs and find all of the flaws. Also they set a slightly above the benchmark so people don't get their computers melted when they run the game.
So yes they do visually but game play wise they are of a much less higher quality.
The Missing Information team should do exactly that then. Do the playtests with people and root out all the flaws and whatnot. Eyecandy is all good and well, but if theres little gameplay, it's not really a game.
Maybe rent out beta's for people to playtest, and make the system secure with steam n stuff, like garrysmod.com
Nah, would never happen
You shouldn't be too sure about that ;)
This should not occur in my opinion, valve laid out these maps, I would like to play them in their original form, at least layout wise.
I mad at you. only cause this epic pics made me **** my pants. lol :)
Your mapping skills surpass your loveliness!
so only diffrent between elite and normell are that PBF gas mask?
cuz despite the fact the stroy was interesting valve wanted to make the game fun and use asspects of the source engine so they trashed som parts and made the game more cinematic and have more phisics based gamplay which made the game fun after all
is this showing that when you reload the background becomes blurred because you're checking your gun?
I'm guessing the blur is caused by incoming damage, instead of reloading.
Combine looks weird lol.
niceee screen blur... Good.
