TAVORs are one of the flat top guns, giving them realistic zoom factor destroys the line of sight and makes the gun clipping through the screen, and since the engine does not allow us to use realistic zoom on such guns there is only one initial solution, adding high zoom factor, it is an ugly solution which we hate so much, it's what has been used in vanilla STALKER games. I had to do something about this fake zoom, and the only solution I found was giving these guns scopes. So each one of the three variants is now equipped with a permanent different scope, and they are as follow:
-IMI Tavor CTAR-21: Vortex 4x scope
-IMI Tavor TAR-21: HAMR 4x Scope
-IMI Tavor X95: TAC-Point Red dot with 3x Magnifier
P.S: I learned new tricks for making 2D scopes, the two on the image are some of the results, and there is still more to come! lemme know how you find em.
P.S.S: Tavor X95 was previously using a camouflaged texture, but we dropped it for a much better all dark and more realstic texture.

They're all revised now, and MARS sight has been added to two new variants, another TAR-21 with standard long barrel, and FORT-224.

Interesting change. I'd been passing over or selling these guns off, but I'll be sure to give them a try now. Should be interesing to see how they do with higher zoom, but the scope models look excellent, and it looks like you're putting good effort into good sights as well.
I enjoy a good red dot, but they vary a lot, and some just aren't good while some are much better. Like there's some guns where the red dot actually looks or feels sorta illuminated, where some look like they were literally painted on with an ugly red dab that might even be big enough to obscure vision.
For those being ugly I'm gonna need ingame screenshots, this IS the reason TAZ is beta, so these bugs are exposed and fixed. Try getting your hands on the said weapons and make a thread so I can fix them, and be sure not to mention Tavors and they are all reworked for the upcoming patch.
Do you think you will add the Ukrainian licensed copy of the Tavor, the Fort 221 and 222? They use 5.45 instead of 5.56, so maybe they could be used as a more economical variant. Great work regardless.
Fort-224 has been added, with the famous MARS sight and that iconic 5.45x39 written on the side :) it is based on the current X95 model and textures.
Also, an extra TAR-21 with MARS sight has been added beside the current one with HAMR scope.

I'll try remaking some of the scopes and correct whatever issues they have, kuba has done a great deal of work on all scopes, and many are great and realistic too, so it will be a mixture between his scopes and mine.
Hey my comment got buried on an older photo, sorry to ask again but will the spawner still work in the full version or is it just to test, also how do you use it?
Spawner works either ways, you just need to extract it into your gamedata and overwrite files when asked.

You know what's the real sin? you insisting that I port one gun and totally ignoring the currently available 700+. It was this exact reason why I promised to never add the KS23 :)

Hey mp5Ing, been playing TAZ 2.0 and loving it so far, i was wondering if on the IMI Tavor TAR-21 with the HAMR 4x Scope u could change between the 4x and the red dot sight?
