RPK-74M should not have holes in handguard but that would require modification of the model.
So far I like it a lot. Looks very high quality :P.
It's not RPK-74M, it's late production RPK-74 with synthetic parts. M would be totally black, and it has some differences that would, as you mentioned, require new model. I'm against introducing M series into game though as they're used exclusively in Russia and few countries that bought rights for it, and Ukraine isn't one of them.
So, this packs will be available in the next version of TAZ or... ?
Yes. We're now trying to replace all weapon variants instead of adding new weapons.

Bad boy gun. I would like to see the drum mag version on the Zone one day, but thats off limits for now I supose.

There is drum mag model but it's of low quality, we might have an RPD in one of upcoming releases though.
Honestly I don't have any ideas for custom variants and just adding camouflages to every weapons seems bit bland, just wanted to make more variants of AKs because they're most common weapons. Anyway, if you have any request I can make it, adding camo is a 5 minute work :)
well, it would be cool to either have a duty variant of the RPK, or a snow camo merc variant. or just a snow camo or redish camo with no faction. :P

Why would anybody use a snow variant in summer? :P As for Duty I have more weapons for them in mind :)
Why not I say. Its not about the season, its about having a unique variant. it doesnt really have to be a "snow" variant. Just some blue and white. :)
