Though I had to alter the model design so it fits with the animations it still looks cool.
Cool thing about the M-14, is that it was so good at its time, that the US military took it away from their military, cause there was no need for such a good "and expensive" rifle.
Animations look promissing.
I hope there will be space for the modern EBR... ;)
lol. estonian army uses m-14 as marksman rifle. Thing is that it semi auto only and they are **** (cheaper m-14s basicly)
M14 was nothing good for US Army, it wasn't highly reliable, it was expensive, had high recoil and wasn't accurate enough for DMR. It was retired because M16 was better in every aspect for standard infantryman rifle. US could have lighter and cheaper FN FAL but turned it down because of their blind nationalism.
...but it's still a powerful battle rifle that can be used with success in the Zone :) just remember to clean it and it will serve you well.
The first M16 wasnt very good neither, and alot of US soldiers were upset about their M14 being replaced by a plastic weapon, with a small round, and that jammed once a little dirt or corrosion got in the bore.
So when it comes to reliability, trading the M14 for the M16 wasnt a very good idea during the vietnam war. And the high recoil was the result of its higher caliber, wich soldiers prefered over the weaker 5.56 of the M16. Its acuracy was very good on its time for an assault rifle. :)
How ironic, both weapons are now back to serve humanity once again, this time the battle is against the zone and all of its odds :D you better stick to whatever you get.

That's pretty much the same rifle, only with a red dot sight or something.
Sweet. Any plans for a non-scoped version of this rifle for the Assault class?
I'm planning to put an assault version, an MK or DMR or something, I got some nice models too, so stay put for some soon updates.
Cool. Even just a standard, original model M-14 would be a nice addition.
The one above is supposed to be a standard original model :p
By the way, what I meant by assault version is a version for assault class, shorter barrel and less recoil with full auto mod, there is no assault version for the M-14 :p

No, the opposite, permanent scope, the iron sights aren't that good looking.
