Here comes a sawed off pump action shotgun, judging from the description it's a sawed off Ithaca-37, a cool shotgun for backup, keep it close, you'll need it.

That's an empty shell on the side, not a live one, it's a reminder for you to never shoot unless you're sure you have a solid hit, missing the target means a wasted shot, just like that one, count your damn shots, buckshots are still expensive.

Its good to give the moosberg 500 short some competition. And honestly I never seen shotgun sheels being that expensive. Especially buckshot. They are actually very cost efective considering the amount of power that a single shot can do. Basicly, I never had money issues when it came to maintain my shotguns. :D
Btw, I love shotguns. I have a ton of sugestions when it comes to shooties, and imo I think Misery should actually make a dedicated class for shotguns, instead of sharing snipers and shooties in the same class. Same would go for having a dedicated class for the LMGs. The only problem in the way of that, is that there arent that many shotguns or LMGs ingame to make an entire class out of them. But I think you are covering the lack of shotguns very well with these last updates.
My crazy shotgun sugestions. Dont take them too seriously, these are just ideas. I dont want you to fell overhelmed by them.

Well, it's dreams what keeps us moving aren't they ? I can't promise any of the above suggestions but surely I'll see what I can.
We do need at least a new class, Heavy gunner, this class should cover LMGs and anything heavy for the others, shotguns too, I can't tell for sure but we might add a new class for that matter, no promises at all, you can also rise this request to the MDT, who knows, Misery 3.0 is open for new features and ideas, and requesting new classes could be done if the interest is high.
Anyways, we will cover almost all aspects of weapons, LMGs, Shotguns, Sniper rifles.
For v3, I hope they replace the class system with a more flexible character system, probably via Open X-ray, and get rid of that jumbled mess of class config files. Something like the upgrade system, RPG-lite, no allocating skill points, but definite personalization similar to armor and weapons. Then recreate the classes as predefined roles, used by NPC's and available to the player, just like customized weapons.

I don't know about the possibilities of the Open Xray, but surely anything new will pop up eventually, this is applied to v3 obviously.

You know what? How about a 8 or 10 Gauge double barrel shotgun?
It would need custom (more expensive) ammo of course, but boy would that be fun... and obviously it'd not be unrealistic, there are shotguns like these out there...
That's possible, some new double barrels were added already, most of them are based on the TOZ-66 and TOZ-34, but they could differ in size for variation purpose, so is the Gauge.
