Hello,

I am now on my second playthrough of the Armed Zone mod, and let me just say its badass. With that being said, here are some things I've noticed that need to be fixed/changed bla bla bla you know. I'm just hoping you guys churn out more updates and keep improving this awesome mod!

MAIN STUFF THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED



ATTACHMENT ISSUES:

- The AK9 only takes a US army small-bore suppressor and not a PBS variant. Not sure if this was intended, but I think it's an issue.

INTERFACE ISSUES:

- The OTS-33 appears to be using an old inventory UI image. It just doesn't really fit in with the rest of the inventory interface, and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

- When a silencer is attached to the Mini 14, it is offset in the inventory UI screen

WEAPON ANIMATION ISSUES:

- The Mini 14's bolt does not go back when your character pulls the charging handle on it.

- The MP412 Rex has an issue in its running animation. Once you start running, the anim freezes up but then continues to play. It doesn't appear to be timed correctly if you know what I'm saying. Anyways, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, grab yourself an MP412 rex in-game and start sprinting with it. The animation error should be VERY noticeable

WEAPON DESCRIPTION ISSUES:

- The M16A2 GL variant has the same description as the M16A4, but it isn't an M16A4.

SUGGESTIONS


AMMUNITION SUGGESTIONS:

- Tracer ammunition for 7.62x25, 9x18, 9mm, and .45 ACP would be cool to have.

WEAPON ANIMATION SUGGESTIONS:

- The MP40 reload animation is very finicky it seems. Listen, I'm not an animator and I'm not trying to give you grief because I understand you're working with what you have. This is just a suggestion, that's all :)

- The M1 Garand reload animation is kinda clunky. Again, I understand if it can't be changed. This really isn't a pressing issue anyways, lol.

WEAPON SUGGESTIONS (Yes, I know I should post it under suggestions, but I don't feel like creating a new thread right now):

- Claymore mines would be cool to have. It could work as a land mine but have a larger activation radius. It would also be nice for characters who like more westernized weapons.
- Lee Enfield and a Jungle Carbine variant would be nice to have. It would make sense because, Lee Enfield rifles can be spotted all over the world in conflict zones.
- M67 Fragmentation grenades would be fun to have. It would be cool to have these for players who are more centered towards westernized weapons.
- RGO and RGN frag grenades would also be cool to have. I noticed that there was already OGF files for them, but I haven't bothered to see if they actually work or not.
- The PPS43, and PPD40 sub machine gun would be nice to have.
- Norinco AK variants would be TERRIFIC to add. I've been dying to see a Type 56 in game for a while.

I was actually thinking about adding pistol rounds tracers and maybe even incendiaries lately, around beta release, but since we had a lot of stuff to add back then I decided they aren't exactly useful enough to warrant adding them while other things were on the way. I am currently very busy with IRL things, BUT when I'll have some time and there won't be any other stuff to do then these types of ammo will probably come, it's not hard, just will require some time (adding the rounds, icons and descriptions for them, adding them to traders and NPCs and possibly rebalance in case of incendiaries = quite an amount of time to spend)


About the anims we sadly have to make do with what we have, none of us is animator so we also have to rely on those who are kind enough to do them - and since STALKER animators are scarce we don't have much choice.

About suggestions:
- claymores are probably not possible to implement since all explosives use radius damage, and claymore construction make it a directional mine - so that's a no, however, other mine types are probably totally possible to add;

- we actually thought about Lee-Enfields, and it's possible they will come in some far future;

- new grenades are also planned, but again - far future;

- I'm not sure about PPD, but PPS-43 is definitely planned - but adding it will be possible only if we have anims;

- same! Chinese AKs are definitely something that should be in game and if we manage to get them - they'll definitely come
