Patch for RC13 (do not use on RC14!), fixes balance issues and some bugs. To install overwrite the .pak files in the TOE\data folder with the ones in the archive.

-added effect to eternal servitude for living hero's, they will resurrect more than 50% of tier2 after every battle at zero mana cost
-extra skeleton growth effect was moved to lord of undead perk
-lowered necromancy cost divisor from 15 to 12 (increases dark energy cost)
-lowered power ratings of necro t6,7 by 10% (decreases dark energy cost)
-fixed necro upgrades having different dark energy costs
-increased max bonus of off/def formations from 6 to 10
-fixed faiz having 2 specials
-fixed alaron having extra skill
-improved gremlin repair ability text
-improved incorporeal text
-improved casters luck text
-fixed mass spell perk desc
-shortened and clarified desc of resurrection artifacts
The Renegade descriptions are all wrong. "The Hero has +2 Attack, -2 Defense and receives a -2 morale penalty for learning Shatter Dark Magic." But Renegades learn Dark Magic, not Shatter Dark Magic.
2 of them start with dark magic, but they are still knights using the knight skillwheel, so they can learn shatter dark, see ingame skillwheel

I have idea to one realistic modyfication: make units ability to cover from shooters behind obstacles on battle map like in newer HOMM VI and VII. Eventually make new higher, not flat obstacles to make this conception more realistic and better looking.
Currently impossible but sounds good :)
Is the chance to make it in future? :)

I reported these bugs so far:
1. In the capaign (II) Cultist in mission two The Promise (in my case) Lord Veyer got suck in the first crossroad - he walking some distance on left road and coming back, walking same distace on right road, coming back, over and over again.
2. (This bug is not a big problem for me, but I report): In campaign (I) The Queen in mission five The Fall of the King in some cases, when Godric was sended to Nicolai - gone off the map, Nicolai don't coming, meybe it is realted to fact that Isabel was close to end of road\map. In other case: when Nicolai came don't battlled with Agrael insted walking chaotically one turn, but cinematic and normal end of mission coming.

I have another idea for mod :)) To make spell which will decrease or increase movent speed, a bit like in Heroes III or also spell which will decrease or increase movent speed and initiative, just like in Heroes III. There is currently no spell on movement speed :)
Was playing with friends online, and we noticed that heroes dont get spells trough perks(like no Raise Dead after getting Master of Life). Is the common issue or we just doing smth wrong?
This means that map scripts are not activated.

Does Inferno ballista-specialized hero work correctly? It shows a micro-damage of 1 done by his ballista fireball in many battles.
It starts with 1 and goes up every 3 or 4 hero levels.

Both mine and my friends screen has 0 text and bugs out when the game launches. We can see the background but there's nothing else, just blank spaces where the text was.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

- running the game as admin
- right click on exe -> properties -> disable fullscreen optimizations

I have found, that the game crashes every time i click the second hero in tavern. Is there some way to fix this??? Well after few minutes of playing it crashes just after clicking tavern.

Trying to convert first captured town as necromancer, got message that conversion limit has been reached (limit is 4 towns) . What I'm doing wrong?
There is a limit of each type of faction castles per map depending on the number of players. The number can be edited in <Game folder>/data/MMH55-settings.pak file
How to install this ?

I'm reporting that right clicking on the hero Deleb causes the game to crash. Also, while playing inferno, building tavern day 1 and trying to open the tavern to hire an hero, the game crashes as well, even with RC13a.

You can bind different keys for those functions.

several dlls cannot be found causing this to be unplayable. any fixes? youtube tutorial followed to a T with several reinstalls.
This means mod was not installed in the Heroes V game folder. You need to specify that manually. If that is not the case the game is not the latest version - ToE 3.1. Mod does not work with older ones.
Hi have a problem with some heroes from the Inferno faction. When I hover my cursor above them or when I try to access their "inventory" the game crashes. It started happening in Haven campaign mission 5 and continues in the Cultists campaign as well. Any idea what could be wrong?
Edit: Also the backpack items does not work at all.
I assume you are using RC13a, this is not normal, you have a severe install issue or using wrong exe file or the install is unclean (conflicting mods/maps), see FAQ.
I tried to reinstall the mod using the instructions again but I still have problem with entering/besieging city. I am not using any other mod only RC13 and RC13a patch. Playing on GOG version.
You need to disable Windows 10 D.E.P. module (do not add the game as exception, disable the whole module).

If DEP cannot be disabled, you need to disable "secure boot" module in your bios. After that you will be able to disable DEP.
