These are 2 tools that can be used to edit the save file in Might and Magic VII, you can give gold, stats, exp, items, food, custom items, droped items (3do droped items) and the deathblade (test weapon). You can also give spells, edit hp etc. The advance tool is better and I have been told you can use it to edit the game it self

It does not recognize saves made when MM7 is started on admin mode
MM7 always starts in admin mode for me for some reason, I remember that my computer put MM6 saves in a really weird spot, took me some time to find it. You might have to find this spot and put the save there. But like I said my computer will only start it in Admin mode
Neither tool is working for me. It's reading the changes I make, but the game doesn't recognize them. Even after saving and loading, it doesn't recognize changes. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
The tools are kind of buggy, you save might be messed up to.
Try taking the file out of the save folder, modifying it then putting it back
this tool will not work for me
Hmm it worked for me, I will try to help you if you want but lets run through a real quick check list
1) Did you make sure to use the right tool, I have VI and VII linked to this page make sure to get the right one
2) Did you find your saves? I don't remember were but they are saved weird places
3) Is it corrupting the file, we can try to work around this
