The 'Middle Earth Roleplaying Project' aims to recreate J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth in the Creation engine of 'Skyrim'. The player will be plunged into Middle Earth near the end of the Third Age, not long before the War of the Ring breaks out.

Sit, Table? Since when were you able to sit on tables?
It's the national pastime in Rohan. Tablesitting.
laughed out loud at this post (because lol doesn't mean sh*t anymore)
These are MERP original designs, the first original weapons to be made and placed in game! :D From top to bottom they are:
Rohan Officer's Sword
Eastern Rohan Soldier's Sword
Sword of Erkenbrand (for which we have yet to think of a name :P)
so now it is
Rohan Officer's Sword
Eastern Rohan Soldier's Sword
and Aesctír ; Sword of Erkenbrand.
yep ;)
Sit Table? new merp feature :D?
He will sit on the chairs nearby the table ya bloodeh dummy.
no no it said "sit table" ya bloodeh dummy.
goh, everone is commenting on two words, rather than the 3 awesome words
k. tis hilarious. but dude!
*3 awesome swords* not words :p
Daefýr, Fergrim, Brycgeald, Daerfeng, Gírseld
These are my suggestions for names for Erkenbrand's sword, some might be a bit ramdom...
: )
They don't sound too bad, but without a translated meaning, it is hard to pic ;) .
We are using Old English to construct Rohirrim names, so going to a good old english translator will help with coming up with meaningful names. There are some good ones online.
Daefýr (daegrim+fýr)=Dawning fire
Fergrim (fér+grim)=Feared edge
Brycgeald (brycg+eald)=Anicent bridge (??)
Daerfeng i dont have a translation of.
Gírseld (gim+eald)=Anicent jewel
Actually, we just thought of names for the swords lacking them. Erkenbrand's sword is now called Aesctír, which means "glory in war"
I really like that name! It's unique and pleasing to look at.
I still took the freedom of making some loose translations of my suggestions, i case you'd have use for them somewhere else :)
Cool. We need names for people, places, and things in Rohan so we may very well use those. Thanks ;)
