The 'Middle Earth Roleplaying Project' aims to recreate J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth in the Creation engine of 'Skyrim'. The player will be plunged into Middle Earth near the end of the Third Age, not long before the War of the Ring breaks out.

O YEAHH!! Is the carving on the table (or chest, don't really know what it is) your own texture too? For that's awesome too, can't remember seeing that in Skyrim :)
It's either vanilla or a mod. It's BGS's screenshot so i'm not sure :P
We will surely have lots of new table textures and meshes though ;)

AWESOME! I like the one on the right best. Though a sword will be a backup weapon to my spear! Especially if i'm a rohirrim! :D I get so excited from a single picture! I think i'll have a heart attack when Rohan gets released!! haha
Well, the sword to the far right is Herugrim, sword of Theoden, so getting that will border on impossible. However, we will try to have it possible to get a lot of cool weapons and there will be multiple "standard" Rohan swords to acquire. And keep in mind that spears are not so good for combat on horse when you are in close quarters and not moving quickly ;)
@Nuvendil does that mean getting famous weapons like Anduril or Hadhafang will be all but impossible to get?
Virtually, which is how it should be. People can't just make the dang things willy nilly. Also, Hadhafang will belong to someone other than Arwen if it is in (probably Elros or Elrond). Anduril in particularl will be one of a kind and will require killing Aragorn (a serious boss) and most likely a lot of super skilled guards (also boss). On top of that, Aragorn may be one of the few (very few) essential (unkillable) characters. We don't like doing that, but there are a lot of reasons why this may be the case for Aragorn). However, there will be awesome, legendary items to be had. Don't worry, you aren't going to be stuck with lousy stuff :P
I agree you should'nt be able to kill the main characters like aragorn gimli etc. It would just ruin main the story killing them. Im looking forward to seeing the standerd weapons :) great job.
