MERP is a total conversion modification of the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Explore Middle-earth in a fully open-ended environment like you've never seen before. Play races like Elves, Men, Hobbits and Dwarves and take part in the War of the Ring.
This is one of the various designs we have for the numerous elven armors there will be. This one is very light, mostly leather and will appear in Mirkwood.
This was done by our other concept artist, Conlan.
can i just say for whoever drew this lovely picture, it'll look better though if you show him pulling the string to his ear, thats why it looks a bit unnatural.
You really need to work on your proportions. His head is in proportion to his arm, but they both look huuuge compared to the tiny body and the short, midget-like legs. Also, i get the impression that his other arm dissapears somewhat behind his body, even with the angle, it should stick out behind him. Finally, his torso is skewed in an impossible way given that pose, which makes it look like the straight arm is attached directly to his nipple without a shoulder. A shame, given that his face, hood and hands were all very well drawn.
@ I_Love_cat & @ Schoon: It was drawn some time ago, I wasn't aware people were going to post this here in public. Anyway I feel I made a lot of progress since. The feedback is much appreciated though!
@ Kidstein: I'm afraid not, the picture is rather "awkward" as pointed out by the above, so I won't invest time in it. Sorry.

Is that for Oblivion or Skyrim? I ask because the armors work diferenttly in each game.
@guiaranha: Both Oblivion and Skyrim use the same file types for models, meaning we can import them into either game.
very nice!

Love it! Any chance we'll be able to see it colored? (:
