There where two official Marine-Infanterie Divisions as far as I know, the 1st & the 2nd. There was a Marine-Infanterie-SturmKommano group aswell, but they mainly emerged during the later stages of the war in 1945 on the Eastern side of Germany.
They fought along side Volksturm, SA, Panzergrenadiers e.t.c
They've definitely passed inspection Sturm;) Will you also have them with same colour trousers as tunic and with trousers out side of boots too?
Thanks for these:)
Well I can assure you they did. They where more of an ad-hoc unit i.e at Dieppe in 1942 they were inport at the time, and whilst the majority of the fighting divisions where in the east, they where called into service. In the Kriegsmarine, the Marine-Infantry are viewed as invaluble elite units as they are essentially the only soldiers with ground combat experience.
Also the Marine-Infantry where mainly in Denmark in 1940, capturing the undefended port cities & in 1945 on the Russian Front in Holdstein.
Too bad Germany used them as reserve during and after Market Garden, they would have sunk more merchant ships until 1945 if they weren't used as ground troops.
OMG sturm, skins are beutyfull
This is what I was basing them off.

WOOOHA stunning!
Also, I have a field cap of the Kriegsmarine =)
These will be pretty rare units, less capable than standard Infanterie, but more formidable than Russian conscripted troops, volksturm & the like.

WOW! Looks amazing!
I think some of these served in the Netherlands at the Operation Market Garden, right?

It's so difficult to find any information on German naval infantry, thanks for posting this Sturm! I was beginning to doubt their actual existence.
I found some infos about them but no reliable source...
I know "Unternehmen Bruno" during that some German" Kampfschwimmer" destroyed the harbour of Antwerpen.
Spectacular!
Oh and Sturm, I'm not sure if this has been asked/answered before but what program do you use to skin?
Photoshop CS3. Very good.

I Like to add units there are rarely ever seen in mainstream games. Its all about the historical accuracy.
