Yes ScreamingBudgie, at the moment I call it 'Observation', it acts as a weapon in place of the cupula mg, with a 5 man tiger crew all crew members are inside the tank until the player selets the seconday weapon called observation whereby the 5th member will open the canopy and peer out. You can control the direction he looks aswell, also giving you a field of view bonus. Once you reselect the main weapon and move the tank the 5th member shuts the canopy and stays inside the tank. There is a sound for opening and shutting the canopy hatch aswell. In addition in automatic fire mode no crew will open the hatch unless the player orders so.
This is definatley a thinking man's strategy game. The sound for the hatch sounds great. On the subject of tanks I think only crew men and engineers should be able to fix tanks, don't think infantry in real life had the training to repair those vehicles. Also in MOW when a tank gets knocked out it has projectile penetration marks where it never got hit, will this be different in your mod Sturm? Thanks for the latest images:>
Yes I removed the external Cupula MG because historically it was inaccurate to include it, to my knowledge only Tiger tanks deployed in Afrca from 1941-43 had cupula Mg-34's to protect them against strafing British fighters. At least without the mg34 tanks now have to be a little more weary of infantry.
Will their be an option to have crew man duck into the tank when in combat? In MOW, the poor old commander gets shot out of the turret.

Will this affect the field of vision if he is inside the tank?
