So...will soldiers have their service caps and their helmets in their inventory as in DCG?

Possibly. Some officers will have their helmet connected to their belt for alternate use. Soldiers wearing caps may also have their helmet tied to their belts aswell.

Sturm they look Fallschirmnomenal. Love the open and closed collar varieties and the tilted short peak cap really gives the models character. Have you done any Fallschirmjager scarves too? The bandoleer looks really good and take this with a pinch of salt;) but most pics I've seen are two pouches below the waist belt and start with the highest part of the top pouch from the top of the breast pocket area but don't worry too much,I'm just a detail freak;) Last thing,do you also have the four pouch FG42 bandoleer?
Keep up the great work. Screaming Budgie.

Cheers again Budgie,

I will create a four pouch, larger sized banolier for the FG42. However I cant create the bandoliers hanging below the waist as they will be used as a wearable item & thus can only be connected to one body part to be animated. So they are attached the body, any segments below the body would therefore be connected to the body and not the top part of the legs as any segments hanging below the waist would be. In short its best to have it the way it is.

Dont worry the text in this captions is pretty rushed, I include the correct umlauts & spelling in-game.

Aha! I forgot they were a wearable item,a sound reason Sturm, sorry I forgot about that essential component;) So if they did hang past the belt they would restrict upper leg movement I presume? Just out of curiosity and I don't expect this to be done but if you added a four pouch bandoleer for above the belt and a two pouch add-on for below the belt with the same principle as a holster it could be done?
Will it be possible to add bandoleers to riflemen with rifle ammo pouches already attached to their waist belts also or would it be a case of adding just ammo pouches to a waist belt or a bandoleer around the neck but not both?
Thanks for the four pouch bandoleer, that'll make some very dangerous looking FG42 handlers. Last two things about the scarves, will they also be an option and will you be designing fallschirmjager jump helmet with "chunky" chin piece chin strap (the piece that cupped the chin)?
Cheers Sturm.

I will see what I can do about the chin strap, however regarding the pouches below the waist, If I do that then basically the bottom of the pouches will 'clip' or go through the legs when the soldier crouches. I can only apply one body part of the equptment for animating so either Body or legs, not both unforunately. If I applied leg animtions to a seperate lower section, then at some point in the animation the two would break & seperate which would look unsightly.

Hello Sturm!

I'm happy to see your fantastic work, incredible of realism : i can't wait to play with all this new units!

Do you plan to add some female characters in the game?
For example Women's Auxiliary Air Force (luftwaffe and RAF)

This game also need new civilians animations:
- workers : seeding, cut the wood, woodcutters, plowing fields..
- woman who feeds the chickens, work in the gardens, carry a bucket of water,etc..
- animals (wilds ones, and for farms like pigs, sheeps).

Great job!

Cheers.

I reckon Its possible to have animations for digging, carrying wood & carrying buckets of water but thats about it. Each map would need scripts for such an event. However as Men of War games revolve around a town / city in a warzone, most civilians would have been evacuated and thus wouldnt but caught tending their live stock when a Panzer V comes crashing though the fence.

I agree with your point of view but all theses new actions add to the realism. Thoses civilians should stop their job and run away to escape the shots.. I think it could be possible to script that because there is already such triggers in the game (for example the sounds could be scripted to be eared depending of what happen near the source).

I will try to explore that and propose you a little script
