Important please read (this modification requires Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms) Welcome to Medieval 2 Total War Enhanced, this mod comprises all of the Kingdoms Campaigns/Factions and adds them to the Vanilla game allowing you to play all of the campaigns with one application meaning no restarts necessary to change which campaign you want to play. you can also play multiplayer battles with the Kingdoms factions meaning you can play as Jerusalem vs Lithuania or the Teutonic Knights etc. this mod also is changing the unit behavior/stats slightly in order to make it more realistic, so now for example heavy shock cavalry like the Byzantine Kataphractoi's charge will have a better chance of devastating non-spear infantry when charging.

the 3rd Crusade will start with an Event chain........first we will see the 3rd Crusade Launch, then England & France Will join then Emperor Barbarossa of the HRE will also join, then he will drown and then the Crusaders will arrive in an invasion and attempt to attack Saladin in Egypt.

England & France will be allied to the Kingdom of Jerusalem upon the start of the invasion.

the invasion involving Richard (The Lionheart) & Philip II won't be playable as it is meant to mirror the 3rd Crusade where they have a chance at gaining some victories and slowing down Egypts expansion but they aren't meant to win the overall conflict in the long run and instead will just start to slow down Saladin so the other Crusaders can catch up to Egypt.
