Got the Venitian Sack/Invasion of Constantinople working in the bigger Crusades image - Medieval 2 Total War Vanilla Enhanced Realism mod for Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms
Important please read (this modification requires Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms) Welcome to Medieval 2 Total War Enhanced, this mod comprises all of the Kingdoms Campaigns/Factions and adds them to the Vanilla game allowing you to play all of the campaigns with one application meaning no restarts necessary to change which campaign you want to play. you can also play multiplayer battles with the Kingdoms factions meaning you can play as Jerusalem vs Lithuania or the Teutonic Knights etc. this mod also is changing the unit behavior/stats slightly in order to make it more realistic, so now for example heavy shock cavalry like the Byzantine Kataphractoi's charge will have a better chance of devastating non-spear infantry when charging.
With my first update in awhile I have now successfully gotten the Venicians to spawn with an Invasion Army in the exact manner as it works in the Vanilla Crusades campaign.
please be warned that the factions on the map bottom left minus the ones who belong here will be removed before release........
so the factions you will see in this Campaign will be
1. The Byzantine Empire (Playable)
2. Egypt (Playable)
3. The Turks (Playable)
4. The Kingdom of Jerusalem (Playable)
5. The Principality of Antioch (Playable)
6. Kingdom of Hungary (Will be the smallest faction on the map but Playable)
7. Venice (Unplayable/Via Invasion)
8. France (Unplayable/Via Invasion)
9. England (Unplayable/Via Invasion)
10. The Holy Roman Empire (Unplayable/Via Invasion)
11. The Mongols (Will be Playable but in a weaker state when player controlled & AI will get Invasion buffs.)
12. Timurids (Unplayable/Via Invasion)
I am also debating having Sicily and the Teutonic Order appear as Unplayable Via Invasion factions as well to represent the Fifth Crusades as it was about 20 years later (from the 4th Crusade and involved both the Kingdom and Order.
