With Medieval 2 Total War Battle Immersion mod you can play as usual, but at the same time you can zoom in on your general and experience the battle in third person. It was originally created by sapiens I just updated and uploaded it here.

Can anyone help me the mod works great except when im doing a siege it goes to the cutscence of the gates breaking open but it still has the two frames at the top and bottom like its still showing the video except its not! im using my genral but cant move anyone else cant even see the unit cards or battle map???? hope someone knows how I can fix this cheers

You will have to use notepad++ and edit your .cfg-file of the mod or the main medieval2-game - then remove the videos/cutscenes, due to them not being compatible with the Immersion Mod.

Otherwise you will get stuck in the cutscene.
