The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

OOoooooohhh its niice, I still think there is too much a design jump between canon/concept that the systems alliance has, maybe instead of keeping the blocky sides of the dreadnought designs you have and smooth then down so they look like wings?

I see what you mean, personally i think the "modular" design of lordset's ships suit better the role of heavy caps. Besides he did an extraordinary job in making those models in less than seven months. Those models deserve to be in.

I agree completely, I never said they don't deserve to be in, It just doesnt look like they were designed by the same Alliance. But from what I remember they were based off of concept art so they are to form but it just doesnt flow with the Alliance's sleek and almost fighter like design.

I didnt suggest removing them, just a slight tweak of the sides. But we all know hes completely busy and doesnt need more work added. If Lord_Set wants to stay with what he made, ill stand behind it.

I really do prefer the allainces more winglike designs, but i have to admit that the designs hes done for the heavier ships, make alot of sense. Tougher ships should look like tanks. Not shiny butterflies.

I agree, I believe that if you are going to turn the ME3 dreadnought into a heavy frigate it would be best if you modify your dreadnought to be a little more lore friendly.
Btw, this model looks baddass.

Maybe you could have this model as the Everest-class dreadnought and your awesome model of the Kilimanjaro-class could fit in as a "departure from common warship design" on the alliance's part.

Edit: nice model btw. One of my favorites. :)

perhaps you could replace the Everest with this as according to cannon the Everest had its main guns going down the center of the ship whereas the Kilimanjaro had broadside guns as its main armament, thus making this model more suitable for Everest.

First of all, its canon NOT cannon.
Second of all, this IS the canon Everest class dreadnought.

1st: dude seriously its a simple typo...
2nd: i know this is the canon one but lord_set wanted to keep his previous model for Everest and i was just pointing out that it would suit canon more if he swapped them around.
3rd: it makes sense that this is the canon Everest but the image was simply titled dreadnought, there was never anything confirming it was an Everest.

I'm glad that you reclassified this as a heavy cruiser, it was unworthy of being considered a dreadnought.

As someone already pointed out elsewhere, real world ships of different classes often resemble each other at first glance, but differ in countless fine details. While Bioware were certainly lazy in the lack of ships in the battle scenes, I don't think they were lazy in the designs of the few new ships they did make. This works just fine as a dreadnaught. The designs you currently have for the heavier part of the battle line rather look like they'd be more at home in a Halo mod than a Mass Effect one. Your dissatisfaction with this ship as a dreadnaught is especially perplexing because looking at your Turian lineup most of those ships look similar at first glance but are wildly different upon closer inspection. Also the 'lazy' Bioware Asari ship was perfectly fine.

Agree with you. The current heavier "non-official" Alliance ships looks more like Krogans would make them, if they will have that aspiration. Alliance design is fine, and mostly with large "wings" and the same design of engines.

Re-classifying this dreadnought into mare "heavy cruiser" means that you can do the same with Normandy 2, as that is technically "heavy frigate", as it is two times larger than Normandy-class, and packs a firepower comparable to cruiser.

i am sorry if this has been explained but from reading the comments and more recent model pictures i am confused. will this be the dreadnought or the heavy cruiser? Personally i think this looks dreadnoughty to me, the center gun is way to long for a cruiser heavy or not.

But just like every damn thing being made for this mod it still looks freeken amazing!

Called a "Dreadnought" in game, this ship has been downgraded to a heavy cruiser so that canon ships can be kept along with the concept models i spent so long and hard working on. Enjoy.
