The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

Definitely like the larger mag-clamps (if that's what they're supposed to be - the disc-shaped things) on this version than the one shown previously. Decision to make the Asari cruiser a capital is an interesting choice...

It makes some sense to me, considering they are such different designs compared to the other races and are quite large for cruisers.

And from what I have seen and remember of the mass effect games and in the codex about the few of them that are war assets in mass 3 making them capitals seems logical.

Plus they see to be in the lore a more beefy type of cruiser possibly pushing heavy cruiser levels of power.

The Asari cruiser definitely feels like a capital when you take into account the Ascension will be a Titan. The Asari are the most advanced race in the galaxy (organic race) and they should have representation in the capital ship ranks :)

IT will be scaled down, and the Asari Cruiser will be bumped up to a Cap so that the shipyard can better accommodate the smaller ships.
