Batarian Hensa Class Cruiser Remastered V2 image - Dawn of the Reapers mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.
The last version of the Batarian Cruiser was a good going off point however the design was a little to clean for the grittier aesthetic I am going for. This new version how ever is grittier and is done is such a way to match the Batarian Kodiak seen in The Arrival DLC from mass Effect 2.

I'm not commander shepard and this is my favourite pastry gun in the Hegemony.
The grittier, militaristic direction is a good choice. Helps differentiate them further from Quarians and the dark styling conveys they're not a council race while looking plain graphically nice.
I do like this austere look. I mean, it makes sense for the Batarians. After all, they ain't swimming in credits and resources like the Council races...
