Mars Wars 3 is finally here!
A little more than 3 years of hard work and love for the gameflow perfection have been put into this
mod.
Mars Wars 3 has been optimized and polished in many ways. It became a solid shooter with no technical exceptions made. The download is a 200MB self extracting archive. Easy to install, and it does not change UT2004. Requirements are a copy of UT2004 with the latest 3369 patch.
Before you install MW3, please delete MW2. (do not try to overwrite)

Its better looking, has a working 3rd person view, head shot system, fun and balanced weapons, and is totally badass :]
we're planning to have a release party sometime next weekend if you wanna experience online play ... i was playing against 6 people for like 5 hours earlier today ...
I'd like to thank everyone for the comments and visits on our ModDB. Seems like UT2004s mod section isn't totally dead.
I'll continue working on the mod and supplying it with new stuff/updates frequently. I've had a really great time in the servers already.

Im at work but I'll download this tonight and give it a try. I missed out on 2.0 so I am excited to get my hands on this quality mod. 2D mode sounds pretty sweet as well, I'll post my feedback tomorrow.
This is a brilliant mod. Unfortunately I can't play it online because of my connection, but I played the old one in bot matches frequently and it's a lot of fun. Keep up the great work and I hope you continue modding!
I know it's probably a dead issue, but I just found out about this mod and was just wondering what the developers' thoughts are on geomod? I know it's probably impractical or impossible to implement it or a similar system, but yeah, i was just viewing the gameplay footage and it doesn't show anything like that.
not that it needs it, this mod looks awesome anyway - i was just curious thats all.
It's partly possible in some maps to destroy walls and hidden entries.
However there's no realtime structural modification possible and will never be in the unreal engine.
What I could achieve in Mars Wars is pretty nice already, but can always be expanded on. The only problem is that it requires a lot more work to do this fake-geomod in maps, and doesn't really make the gameflow feel much better, it just adds the special something.

i have the first Red Faction but cant play it coz its not compatible with my graphic card
Its been along time since I wanted to play a mod for an fps as bad I desire this one...
This is pure nostalgia I can remember how impeded I was in red faction and all its destructive glory I hope this will be as good or better :)
