Description
A seamless connection between interior and exterior, the corridor leading between the Lounge and aft GSC is now almost finished appart from the ceiling.
Note the expansion joint running through the corridor.
What's with those black lines being rather fronty,, it seems to overlap the support beams in the ceiling.
You mean those with the white oval dots on them?
Those are deckchair indicators. Each deckchair on Titanic was numbered and stored below the indicated number that was attached at the beams. This way, the deckchairs could be stored in good order. I believe it also served as a tag for people who hired a deckchair.
Oh, I gotcha, so it only "appears' that's it's overlapping, but is actually Hanging DOWN the "beams".
Yes, they were attached with small brackets and placed about 1-2 Feet away from the bulkhead.
