It's great to see the Mac port of Wolf3D get some love after all these years.

One minor thing-- it doesn't seem the old cheat codes work. I'm typing "wowzers", "burger", "groan", etc. and no response.

You planning on putting those in a subsequent release?

For cheat codes, you need to run the game with the parameter --burger and press shift+alt+home.

Hello! Due to a bug, it is impossible to complete the game ... In the third episode, the fifth level is secret, and it is located between the first and second. But for some reason, after passing the fourth level, I was thrown to the fifth, and after passing it to the second of the same episode. Several times the episode ran around the circle and they do not allow to leave it ...

We've had issues with this particular transition before and I thought everything was conclusively resolved, but I forgot to apply one last step.

Fixed the issue and uploaded and updated version of the game, please re-download and see if it helps.

I'm really enjoying this port, brings me way back to my childhood days! I'm just curious, is there any way to increase the mouse speed any further? I feel like that even on the highest option available it is still a little bit too slow for me, my wrist is not the same as it used to be and can't play for much because of it haha

We are almost certainly going to do something about that, introduce separate sensitivity settings for walking and turning, and jacking maximum turning speed up a fair deal. Look out for a future patch.

Sorry it took a while, but if you're still reading this, the latest patch increases maximum mouse sensitivity. Check it out.

This kicks so much *** I finally had to make an account on moddb. Nice work. Does Laz's Spear Of Destiny work with this?

Thanks! Laz's Spear of Destiny wasn't ported yet, but I'll try to port it some time soon. Relatively.

Why does this download have Third encounter's GAMEDICT.wl6? (it lists 6 episodes of ten levels each instead of 1 episode of 30 levels.)

Is there anyway to combine the Third and Second Encounter or are they supposed to be different executables?

Technically you could combine the maps for both Encounters and write an extended gamedict, but even then, there's a Third Encounter flag that can only be set once per gamedict. You'd end up either playing the Second Encounter with Third Encounter rules, or the other way around.
