Castle of Lost Souls, chronologically the second major release by Josh Mills, in several versions.
What are we bringing to the table this time? Why, it's Castle of Lost Souls by Josh Mills. And what can I say about it? A lot that was said about his previously ported release, Castle Xeen, also applies here. In fact, the two mods were have very similar release dates, perhaps indicating parallel development, and some maps are repeats, although most seem to be new and there's a decent degree of creativity on display otherwise. Maps range from very small to very large with anything in between, there's tons of enemies again. Maps like floor 12 are rather wild. There's just a lot of meat for a Mac mapping carnivore to digest.
As before, this thing comes with multiple versions and adjunct releases. Thus, there's Castle of Lost Souls, the main release with 39 maps. There's Castle of Lost Souls Lite and Demo, two limited teaser verions that seem to have the exact same maps included, but they were distributed separately, so I'm treating them as separate entities too. There's Castle of Lost Souls Dungeon, a single-map affair. And there's something named "Castle of Lost Souls Trait", which is the main release coupled with Amerika the Beautiful graphics. I don't know what's up with that, why was it made or if Josh Mills himself even made it, but you're getting it anyway.
