The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

Rusty and pitted
That's what it should be, but I'm pretty sure that the devs manage that. :D
I disagree; if your gun has pitting and rust you're doing it wrong :P
I've seen worn guns in the army myself; coating was very worn but there was zero sign of rust or pitting.
I have to agree with you. Wear on the finish looks far superior to rust and also more realistic.
Looking good, but definitely different from our VSS model (the one i showed you over skype). IMHO the barrel seems somewhat short, but that could be the angle doing that. How many poly's are we talking about with this one? 10k? or less? If less, this is really professional work.
Loving the wood and small details on the maps already, but is it just me or are you using an orange tinted light?

6284 triangles for the VSS, 5305 triangles for the PSO-1.
Damn... that's at least 3k less than I expected! Nicely done I'd say. Funny how the PSO is almost as detailed as the gun model itself!

PSO and VSS are models created by me and I made them as accuratelly as I could, so barrel is short probably coz of angle as u said

I am just so damn amped to play Stalker again. It is phenomenal to what lengths you guys are going to redo these weapons. Modeling and texturing can take hours of work, then sounds must be recorded, configs written up. Iron sights aligned... This project is creating the stalker we all dream of.
My hat goes off to the lot of you...
