It is so good to see this city on ground with the horizon. And what will be the function of those green 'garden' spaces between the streets? Those triangle empty lots I am speaking about. Will there be trees? Are those accesible?

The green sectors are city districts. Theres is a older concept I made a while back here:

Moddb.com

Where you can see the idea better. The old concept isnt very accurate and the dimensions of the complex have changed a bit, but the idea remains the same. There will be habitat, industrial and agricultural sectors with appropriate buildings and they will all be accessible. The current walls are still lacking accessways through them, but those will be added too.

Because the terrain textures are still for the old one and the preview lighting isnt the best, the "green" sector terracing doesnt show that well, but if you look closely it is noticeable. The idea is to have buildings overlooking each other towards the center to make the districts little more open and comfortable for their occupants.

Description

Got all the wall pieces set up well enough for testing and threw them on the actual map. Boy the buldozer preview loads slow after using small clean testmap.

Anyways, map update with the new walls progresses, going to need to do some work on the terrain next to fit the larger complex properly into it and then re-generate the texture maps.

Lots to do lots to do. :D
