Lost Dragons is a multiplayer total modification aiming to bring out a new thrilling gamemode for Arma3 . Our concept is futuristic objective based team warfare with randomly generated map elements to ensure every game is a unique experience with completely new set of units, weapons, structures and terrain.
I finally had some time to work on the mod again and tried out some ideas for the Battle Armor undersuit.
I've mentioned before that the heavier armor suits basically carry themselves with artificial muscles built into their frame and I've now began to form something out of my concept sketches.
It is still in a very raw form, but its great to see the concept being realized.
Gameplay wise the Battle Armor undersuit offers pretty tough protection by itself and the heavy armor that it can carry makes the wearer formidable foe.
COOL
I don't know why, but I find all your helmet concepts just fantastic... I like the fact there is no visor, and that boat-hull shape is... I don't know, but one thing's sure : it has never been seen before ! Keep up with the good ideas ;)
:D Im not sure where I got the idea. Wanted to do something intimidating and something I have not seen before. I think the shape came first when I drew the WK-209 Walker and then I wanted to implement it as a recurring design feature on the factions equipment and vehicles.
However, the chest plate could be a bit more ambitious, this armor part doesn't really fit the "sharpness" of the other ones in my opinion ^^
Yeah Im still figuring out what I want to do to it. I may even remove it completely from the undersuit and make it all mesh and muscle.
Or do you mean the actual chest armor thats show in the previous pictures? That I will refit a bit when the undersuit is done so that it sits nicely on top of it.
I was talking about the armored chest plate, not the undersuit. The one shown in this pic looks too flat, and a bit ridiculous... Maybe it would be better with larger and heavier pectorals ^^
The chest used with the GOAT helmet looks better, but doesn't show the undersuit... you'll have to find the good compromise ;)
Ah yes the one in this is part of the undersuit and the bulky armor would go over it. (and very wip :D)
I would want the undersuit to have some plating on it that would also act as sort of an fixture for the over armor to be attached to.
Well, now that explains everything ^^
Man, I draw this helmet shape so often, with eye slits though..I wonder where the idea came from :S
