Description
The MAF-300 is a redesigned L/HAF-250 fighter used by the Corporate Sector Authority many years ago. This newer design is the most efficient of the level one fighters/bombers used by the Revenant, about the equivalent of an A-Wing or TIE Interceptor. Soon more information will come.
It has an armament of 2 medium laser cannons and 1 cluster missile launcher for anti-fighter duty.
The mod looks great btw this looks cool!
This is round one of revealing the Confederation Revenant's ships.
And I forgot to include that the Confederation has been researching more less-known technology for weapons. You'll see them using unorthodox weapons such as mass drivers, proton cannons/beams, disintegration bomb/missiles, dirsuptors on a starship-scale, advanced plasma weapons, and things called gravity and nova weapons.

It would be an interesting unit, maybe it could replace the death star as the main super weapon
So this would be a light fighter then. Interesting design.
How many would be in a squad?
That's yet to be decided
But if disruptors can't damage shields how do they work in space where everything has shields except the lowliest TIE Fighter?
I don't recall hearing/reading about that...

some thing tells me those guns will devastate frigates.. if they don't then those are some really inefficient!
Think of the X-wing lasers, they had the long barrels too, but were not a heavy assault fighter.
Actually, some soruces (such as KOTOR) say that disruptors are not affected by shields. In other words shields do not stop them. So this fighter would tear through anything that got in its way. Shields or no shields.
This fighter doesn't have any disruptors, just lasers and missiles.
