Our goal is to bring into focus the Legacy Era, but more specifically the Second Imperial Civil War. Play as either the tyrannical Krayt Empire, freedom-seeking Galactic Alliance Remnant or the obscure Confederation Revenant.
The original Kandosii Dreadnaught was first seen during the Mandalorian Wars of the Old Republic Era. There are several noticeable design changes-not necessarily with the ship's look, but with the systems and such that comprise it. They have been modernized with top-notch weapons and other crucial systems. Serving as a main capital ship in defense of Mandalorian worlds, they are a force to be reckoned with.
The Kandosii II measures 1490 meters long, which is 130 meters longer than the original 1360 meters. At this length, they are in the size range of the Empire's Pellaeon Star Destroyer and the Alliance Remnant's Scythe Battlecruiser. The Kandosii can definitely pose a serious threat to these capital ships if used correctly. Its primary armament consists of 10 triple, 1 quadruple, and 1 sextuple concussion missile launchers of medium strength; 2 heavy dual concussion missile turrets; and 4 single heavy concussion missile tubes. Secondary weapons are 2 heavy turbolaser batteries and 4 medium ion cannon batteries, along with 8 point-defense laser batteries to protect against fighter/bomber strikes. The impressive load-out of the Kandosii makes it a fearsome foe. Three Besu'liik Bomber and 5 Gladiator Assault Fighter squadrons are carried in the fighter bays. It has a class 1.0 hyperdrive, upgraded from the 2.0 of the original, but is considerably slower than the Scythe and Pellaeon in normal space. This is due to the heavily-armored hull and the additional weight of all the missiles stored aboard. You may encounter a couple variants of the Kandosii across the galaxy, as they have also become popular with smaller forces, just as the Longhorn Cruiser and Bothan Destroyer have.
Thanks to Geroenimo for making this free-release, and to the others who provided source material for it.
Also, don't forget to view the original size for higher quality!
No problem, though I didn't think you'd use it, I'm glad you're using it anyways ;)
