Prologue:
The year is 2174. With the recent construction of the Earth Scope – a large, planet-wide, orbital shield – humanity has entered a golden age. Our countries have forged new bonds of peace, and brotherhood. War is now in our past, and drugs, violence, prostitution, everything that plagued the 21st century, is now behind us. We all thought this age would last forever… we were wrong.
Now, the year is 2214. Our once great planet Earth is now all but an apocalyptic wasteland. The Horde has taken control of our planet, and we are almost helpless to stop them. Formed from the ashes of many great countries of old, the U.E.C., or United Earth Coalition, has risen up in desperate hope to try and cast down or oppressors. We are our Last Hope.

I would like to make you aware that we are going through a revision stage, we are currently in the process of revising our story and team.
The story will not deviate from the main plot too much, it will still be based around the Horde, but in a different time setting, one closer to present time.
I hope you continue to support us, the new revised story teaser plot will be posted when it is completed.
I would also like to welcome Theodore, to the team as a music composer, he will be creating the soundtrack for this mod. Thanks Theodore.

Hi there and welcome to The Last Hopes new mod page at Mod DB, we had to do this as we had changed graphics engine from the Source engine to the CryEngine 2. As a result this mod then changed from a HL2 to a Crysis modification.
We hope to get on with development once the full game is released, we where hoping to tinker with the Sandbox Editor in the single player Demo but due to some issues with it, we where unable too. I hope to be updating this page in the next couple of days with job listings and the current media, so stay tuned. ;)
