Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser - WIP image - Knights of the Old Empire 2 - Unity mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Sequel to Knights of the Old Empire 1 - Awakening. Twenty years into the alternate future you see the Republic and Jedi in a time of change where Unity and Democracy are two different things. Family or Tradition are tested as many more youngling are given to the Knights for training and many padawan, jedi knights and even masters are leaving the Jedi for the Sith Knights. The Knight's have formed a federation of systems known as the United Systems that seeks galactic security and freedom. The republic is crumbling under the better life promised and given by the Sith Knights and the Unity. But that all is about to change with one unprovoked and dastardly attack on Revan City on Korriban.
Some time ago i began making a model for the Vindicator after seeing Fractalsponges new version of it. I stopped all work on modding awhile ago after some reallife issues so it was left sitting barebones on my computer for months. A few days ago i found the file and began working on this beauty again.
5 Single Heavy Turbolaser Turrets
10 Quad Turbolaser Turrets
12 Dual Laser Cannon Turrets
Will likely include some ion mounts along the trench by the time i'm done.

Fractal put some indentations with some additional detailing in the bottom hull lines to make the edges on the sides less monotonous, I think that would've looked cool. I also think if the raised areas on the back would run parallel to the ships side it'd be nicer.
Bridge is really nice. Shield domes really well done aswell. Hope the texture will be as good as the model :)
Nice was hoping to see a Fractal Vindicator made up some day and now we got a good one in progress.
