So I could include historical battles as scenarios that come with the mod. I really like that idea, so thank you for mentioning it. The only problem is, we would would need someone who can script and design these scenarios.

I will tell you now that the first release will focus on the Hellenistic era, between the death of Alexander the Great and the beginning of the Roman Empire, and unfortunately Cannae is the only battle which really fits that, though perhaps I could include those other scenarios as well with some modifications. These two scenario designers haven't been active on Rise of Nations Heaven for a while. I will try to contact them, but I will do this when I have completed more and have something for them to work with.

A good thing Uthum suppressed the Osiris scenes on the palace, that would've looked thoroughly odd. Keep up the good work!

To be honest, all this stuff makes me want to work on Via Sericaria, but.... ehhh...you know me....I'm more of a modern history guy, sadly.

Description

Thanks to Ca_Putt and BogdanM, all five of the units and buildings have been correctly identified. The correct answers are: Antesignani, Vigiles, Cohors Auxiliarium, Cohors Sagittariorum Levantinorum and Theatre. Well done to those who took part, and keep an eye out for future competitions.

So here is the grand prize: a scene set during the rule of the Ptolemaic Dynasty that reveals Uthum's brilliant early Egyptian building style. As successors to both Alexander the Great and the Pharoahs of old, the Ptolemaic faction will be a unique blend of Hellenistic and Ancient Egyptian culture. The soldiers displayed here are Macedonian, but the Ptolemaic Empire will be able to recruit similar units.
