This is a list of all the known bugs in the beta. If you find any bugs not mentioned below, please report them here so they can be looked into and fixed.

Known Issues:

  • The following maps are not compatible with the Huge or Big Huge map sizes, and will cause the game to crash: Atlantic Sea Power (Mediterranean Sea Power), East Meets West (Team Islands), Nile Delta (River Delta). If you wish to play on these maps please use the Large map size or smaller.
Status: This will not be fixed, as the other maps are compatible, and better off in our opinion, with the enlarged Huge and Big Huge map sizes.
  • With the exception of a semi-complete Trireme and Ballista, siege weapons and ships are missing from the mod.
Status: We'll be working on implementing these units properly as we progress.
  • The mob-spawning bonus of the Populism policy and the slave-capturing bonus of the Patronage policy are not available. This also means that the Sporting Centre cannot provide the mob bonus.
  • Status: Will focus on implementing these things as we progress.
  • You may notice more lag due to the script and the complexity of new models.
Status: Not serious enough to need fixing, but I will be working to minimise the impact of future script additions so to keep the frame rates where they are now.
  • Sporting Centre and Cultural Centre do not provide resource trickles.
    Status: Will focus on implementing

Make sure that you have set the start and end age to the Gunpowder Age/Hellenistic Age. Also, it will only work if you select the Turks (Romans) or the Romans (Macedonians) in the quick battle setup menu.

Hi, every time I build my second city, the AI seems to take over my build orders and places buildings foundations on its own and spawns spams of cheap units, totally disrupting my production! Have you already seen that :) ?

Make sure that the human players are listed above the computer players in the setup menu, and also make sure you're using red as your player colour.

Hi, thanks for the advice, I forgot about the red color. Well, it looks fairly good for a first version, with such gorgeous new models ! I am just puzzled as some technologies cannot be developed no matter what, as some later economic upgrades and the lvl1 military reform that enables catapults. I am assuming that I did lose more than 100 units, but it was my first game so I could be wrong. Does it work for you ?

I should probably have clarified about those economic upgrades. Basically, a faction's access to them techs depends on their historical proficiency in those particular areas. So a nation with advanced agriculture might get all three agriculture techs, while if they only had basic fortifications, they'll only get one tech from that line. I've done this both to make the game more historically accurate and also to make each faction more unique.

Regarding the reforms, they also require military research at the library so you're probably just lacking the required tech. I'm not sure if I mentioned the required techs in the reform description, so I'll have a look into that.

Okay, I just managed to unlock the reform so it must have been an error on my side. Okay for the unavailable techs for some civs, it totally makes sense for an AOK player :). I'll try to find some bugs later, but so far so good! The game feels a little slower compared to the vanilla version, especially because siege weapons take long before unlocking them, but I really like the visuals !

Thank you for your feedback! Regarding the siege weapons, for later releases we'll be adding new siege weapons that will be available from the beginning, such as battering rams and the Macedonian equivalent of the Ballista.
