Cave Johnson wasn't alive in 1910. And the test chambers have to be the underground old style.
Question : what time was he alive then?
Maybe he was alive by that time, but he was too young to even think about owning an entire company.

The 50's
He founded Aperture Fixtures in the 40's, then converted it into a testing facility some time around the late 40's-early 50's. :)
He was around 30/40/50 by that time. I'm pretty sure than he didn't own aperture science when he was 1 year old or before he was born.
