Hello Welcome to the page! This mod seeks to create an installer for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II JKGFXMOD or OpenJKDF2, the Jedi Knight Neural Upscale Texture Pack and the Enhancement Mod for JkGfxMod. The mods are meant to be used all to together to increase the graphics of the Game.
Outstanding job to give better graphics to this good ol' game. And also brings some tweaks to make it works better on modern machines.
Best remaster mod to date, makes the game seem more consistent with the later titles.
This mod is a superb way to enjoy JK on current machines. It's very simple to use with its own installer and detailed information from the author on this site, in the installer itself, and a detailed manual in .pdf form. Author provided information about the original authors of mods included in this mod package with links which is great if you want to get further information in case of problems or simply out of curiosity.
A valiant effort but with the performance is really choppy at higher resolutions and downgrading kind of defeats the purpose.
What can be said, this mod is amazing. A must have if playing Jedi Knight. A perfect mod. Its an old game an I had issues on my laptop with my drivers but that's an issue on my end and not the mod. 10/10.
With the plethora of unofficial patches and hi-res asset mods available for Jedi Knight, in 2020 we have finally reached the point where you only need the following to play the game with the latest bells and whistles:
1) A copy of Jedi Knight
2) An installer for all the patches and advancements
