Jedi Knight 2: Reborn is an HD Remake of the entire game using textures & models & custom animations, all recreated from scratch. The final version will include the single player as well as the multiplayer content/features of the original game.

... well there's more than I myself can handle left to be done, but this room I delcare to be finished.
I don't often comment but I am continually impressed by the quality of work that comes out of this mod. The Jedi Knight series is a classic and I eagerly await the release of this mod.

If the amount of things left to do is overwhelming to you, I would be more than happy to offer my modeling and texturing services. I don't know much about shaders but I am interested in them and know enough programming that I think I can wrap my brain around them, with some help. Either way, please continue doing what you do, your work is outstanding!

I work on this occasionally, so there's no pressure or anything like that involved in this project. Modeling and texturing skills are more than welcome, as these are the areas I lack experience in.

Well since this is your mod, I'll let you take the lead...obviously :) Any time you have models or textures that you need, PM me with the request and any other info or reference material you want incorporated and I will do my best to fulfill that requirement. I'm willing to model and texture anything...props, ships, characters, weapons...you name it.
Also, if there are any mod-specific tools, programs, or plugins that I will need...please let me know as I have not modded any JK game before so I don't know.

No Kyle Katarn as well as all other characters are not yet high res as my skills in terms of 3d modeling and character texturing are at their lowest level.
This project won't be released in the near future as (just like Black Mesa)it's done when it's done.
i hope you won't give up on this project then (waiting is not the problem but mods with long development mostly cause the creators leaving them dead), it is really promising :)
I might put this on a hiatus for a few months if I have to, but abandoning this is not an option (well if Raven/Disney were to release a remake, then yes).
That is one detailed crate. In fact, if Darth Vader himself came to inspect, he'd probably give everyone a raise just because he was so pleased with that crate.
About that nit-picking thing you said in a newer image.
I,d love to see those creates with some modeling corresponding to the textures. like the texture has an area where it looks like it's pointing in or out with the model following it. The black lines on the crates are a perfect example of that. Because the textures are beautiful, but they are not as beautiful as they can be because they are on a flat model. But i understand that it's hard to do this and i'm not making a demand. i'd just love to see them with less flat models. ;P keep up the epic work!
