This mod started out as a compilation of all those other mods that add new styles to Jade Empire. Eventually I figured out how to add styles myself and added a few more. All in all there's around 40 styles now. 50 if you count weapon upgrades as well. Quite a lot of styles have been modified. Some have been re-balanced. To others I've added new effects. And some have been re-purposed entirely. But I didn't stop at adding and modding styles either. There are new gem armors, new techniques, new merchants, brand new concepts like specializations... I can say without the slightest bit of exaggeration, that this is the largest mod for Jade Empire out there. In fact: It is many times larger than all other mods combined and that is not just because it *contains* so many other mods. The last time I checked the codebase totaled to 25,000 lines. In other words: This mod is a complete overhaul.

So I really transformation styles, but they dont offer any neat open palm/closed fist variations. I mean you got Stone Immortal/Tempest, Iron Palm,/Viper, Paralyzing Palm/Hidden Fist, I mean I think it'd be sweet if you could get some ultimate Open Palm transformation at the very least. I was thinking how cool would it be if the player could eventually transform into a Heavenly Gate Guardian. You know, basically turn into Chai Ka. I dont know, maybe you could change the Bull Demon so it could be his closed fist counter-part. It almost makes sense. Idk. You might have to power them both up a bit, since closed fist and open palm specific styles usually kick a lot of ass. Idk I just really think it would be beyond awesome to play as Chai Ka's form. I suppose thats all I want in this thread xD But anyways I thought I'd suggest that |

I already tried to add the Chai Ka transformation, but I could not make it work. Once you transformed into Chai Ka it would be impossible to transform back until the end of the combat round. I tried to hack my way around that limitation, but with no real success. Maybe I'll give it another go, but my first attempt(s) where very frustrating. |
