'Isandlwana - The Thin Red Line' - A 19th century battle mod (ver 0.2)
Medieval goes Victorian. Well, sort of ... what started as a small attempt to just change some minor things became bigger and bigger and is now a mod around the disastrous Battle of Isandlwana, where an invading British force was annihilated by a Zulu army in 1879.
This mod was developed by Isandlwana, a member of TWC. It is no longer in development but there is a beta with 2 factions and custom battles, and it deserves to be here. Someone may want to continue and reboot the mod one day, who knows?

This mod features many historically authentic units of the same type.
Units marked with * at the end are available in mounted and dismounted variant
This is alpha v0.2 of Thin Red Line. Only two factions playable in custom battles. There is no campaign, and the mod development has stopped since 2012...
so the devs stopped? why? and do you know some othere zulu wars mod? im dutch and some mods have first ore second boer war content
not working
It does, you are probably making a mistake.
Hello everyone, I'd like to make a campaign for this mod but I'm having trouble (I made a map that loads in geomod but when I try to start the campaign I get a ctd, the last line in the log points to the descr_sounds_music_types.txt), if anyone has experience importing new custom maps please let me know
Thanks!
Fixed it, it was a geomod error where there were more colors on the regions.tga than there should have been. Starting campaign map now, there will be two campaigns, one for Shaka Zulu and one for the 9th Xhosa war, zulu war, Basuto War, and Boer wars
