Infection is all about having things to do, taking the normal zombie game and adding a large, deep story, and at the same time having many other game-modes to choose from. You can even just hang with your friends in the lobby mode. The game will feature a fully working achievement system so you can show off your accomplishments, an in-game stats page, and a fully customizable HUD. Our game is your game, it’s all about the users.

please please PLEASE, make your own zombie animations and models that arent from hl2. if you did that you would get a lot more attention from the moddb community

Animation and Modeling aren't exactly the simplest things to do. For now we are going to use what is shown, but with good skins obviously. Anyway sometime in the future if I or somebody on the team (or a volunteer) have the skills to do it, it may become a reality.

Yea, working on it with a few others. Gotta make 18 different skins so it'll take some time. But hey, it'll be cool.

It's pretty simple.
Just replace all animation of zombies by your own and it will work.

Description

First of all, this is a pic of the current state of the mod. The sdk being broken for so long slowed down the mapping, but some cool stuff is coming anyway.

1. New zombie models, each of the citizens are being ported over for new animations. Only the males are done at the moment, but females are to be soon. All that needs to be done to the males is to skin them as they are all using HL2 textures right now, but hey, they're not headless!

2. We've decided since we can't find a modeler we are going to port all the counter-strike weapons to the mod, and ditch the hl2 ones + the mp5k & bat. Later on when we do get a modeler we can get some melee in. But this is the best solution for now.

3. Disregard the part of the HUD with the Zs in it right now. This is concept for the barricade game-mode's HUD which is still being developed. Though we do have the game-mode partially working.
