Also note that this mod was made after the release of "A Heart of Darkness" but I had to upload it "A house devided" instead since HoD doesn't appear to have its own ModDB page yet. Perhaps this will change in the future.

While Victoria 2's method of simulating the different economical ideas of the world is fairly good, there are some issues I take with the current economical views (LF, interventionism, state capitalism and planned economy) and policies that are in the game and how they are presented. The purpose of this mod is to basically make a few tweaks to the already existing economical policies to make them more logical in the game both from a gameplay and a realism point of view.

Lf is more powerful then before, and interventionism and state capitalism have also been given some changes as well.

Here are some (but not all) of the key changes the mod makes the economical policies:

-All economical policies (expect Planned economy) now give factories a bonus to output and throughoutput depending on how much government intervension the policy demands. This means that a fully free market liberal policy gives the largest bonus for example, while a fully planned economy gets none. The same thing also applies to factory costs, with the liberals getting them the cheapest while state capitalists have to pay the most for them.

-The interventionist policy no longer allows as much government involvement in the economy as before, and thus some things such as the ability to direct labor and order the expansion of private enterprize has been removed from interventionists.

-Capitalists can now expand their factories under state capitalism. This removes the annoying micromanagement that came with always having to personally monitor factories built by capitalists to make sure they were expanded when ready for further expansion. It also makes more logical sense from a realism point of view.

-Taxes have been given some adjustment, with the maximum and minimum tax for the economical policies having been tweaked a bit to make them more logical. Liberal governments can now only have a max tax of 30%, interventionists 50%, and state capitalists must have a min tax of 20% and a maximum of 75%. Planned economy has a min of 40% and no max limit.
